Wayne Spanner is Managing Partner of Norton Rose Australia and member of the Norton Rose Group Global Executive Committee. Prior to being elected as Norton Rose Australia's Managing Partner, Wayne was part of the Norton Rose Australia Executive, Head of Norton Rose Australia's Disputes Group and Global Head of Employment and Labour Group.
Under the leadership of the Australian Executive, the Australian Practice established itself as one of Australia's major legal teams, advising almost half of ASX top 100 companies and over 200 of Australia's top 1000 companies. The Australian Executive led the firm into becoming a member firm of the Norton Rose Group, which is transformational in the legal profession. Norton Rose Australia is now one of the largest global legal providers in Australia and part of the Norton Rose Group with over 2,900 lawyers worldwide in 43 jurisdictions.
Wayne is a litigator with speciality in employment and labour law. He holds a Masters from Oxford and has more than 20 years' experience covering South Africa, the United Kingdom and Australia.
