Norton Rose advises Asahi on its acquisition of Mountain H20

Norton Rose Australia has advised Asahi Holdings (Australia) Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd, in connection with its acquisition of Mountain H20 Pty Ltd.
Mountain H20, located in Albury, bottles natural spring water both under its own brands and under contract bottling arrangements with third parties. Mountain H20 has also secured access to sources of natural mineral water.
The transaction was implemented by way of a share acquisition. It is subject to satisfaction of conditions precedent including approval of the transaction by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
The Norton Rose team was led by Partner Shane Bilardi with the assistance of Senior Associate Ron Holzer and Solicitor Fleur Shaw-Jones in Melbourne.
